Disclosure

In whistleblowing, disclosure is the act of reporting suspected fraud or misconduct to a regulatory or enforcement agency, typically concerning an organization potentially harming the market, investors, or the public. This information, often referred to as a “tip,” can be provided by anyone with firsthand knowledge, including employees, contractors, compliance officials, and even interns, making anyone with access to relevant information a potential whistleblower.
