Anti-Corruption

Anti-corruption is a term used to describe the measures taken to prevent fraud, misconduct, abuse, and other forms of activity deemed illegal, especially in the context of business and politics.

Those who focus on the practice of anti-corruption are determined to “level the playing field,” by ensuring bribes are not paid to politicians in exchange for an unfair business advantage, for example.

Whistleblowers who provide regulators with information of corruption, such as bribery, embezzlement, or extortion, are ultimately engaging in anti-corruption measures.
