Richard Convertino

One of America’s top federal prosecutors, Richard Convertino was the lead Assistant United States Attorney in the Department of Justice case against the “Detroit Sleeper Cell” in their “War on Terror.” High ranking Department of Justice officials leaked confidential information in an attempt to discredit Mr. Convertino. Mr. Convertino prevailed in a key appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, which granted Convertino the right to continue to search out the identity of the government official who illegally leaked out the slanderous information used to discredit his whistleblowing.
