Troubled By Death Of Boeing Whistleblower, Kkc Compiles Case’s Legal Docket
Published On: March 12th, 2024

Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto is very troubled by the recent death of Boeing whistleblower Mr. John Barnett, who was pursuing a whistleblower retaliation case against the company under the AIR21 Whistleblower Protection Program. Boeing has a terrible record in its treatment of whistleblowers and delays in Department of Labor whistleblower cases can increase the hardships faced by whistleblowers.

“We extend our condolences to John Barnett’s family and friends, and we believe the entire whistleblower community is devastated by this terrible news,” said KKC founding partner David Colapinto.

“Whistleblower retaliation cases can be extremely challenging and stressful, but lengthy delays can worsen the negative impact on the complainant,” Colapinto told the Washington Post. “Prolonged litigation of whistleblower retaliation claims that allege loss of career and employment is a life-changing event that can result in profound personal consequences on the whistleblower and their families.”

To aid in the public debate surrounding this case Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto has compiled the Barnett’s legal case docket and is making it available to the public.
