Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto Announces Partnership with International Whistleblower Organization
Today, leading whistleblower law firm Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto (KKC) announced its partnership with the Center for Whistleblower Rights and Rewards, an international organization that will provide a full range of assistance and support to whistleblowers worldwide.
The Center, created by whistleblower advocate and investigative journalist Mark Worth, is launching on December 9th in recognition of the United Nation’s International Anti-Corruption Day. Worth is also the Executive Director of Whistleblowing International.
Regardless of where they live, whistleblowers can obtain legal representation using U.S. laws. There are several U.S. laws that allow for international whistleblowers to file for monetary rewards, receive protection from retaliation and retribution, and utilize confidential reporting channels.
“Whistleblowers around the globe can use highly effective U.S. whistleblower programs and become eligible for major financial rewards,” said whistleblower attorney Stephen M. Kohn, partner at KKC. “Our partnership with the Center for Whistleblower Rights and Rewards was established with the goal of changing the negative narrative associated with whistleblowers in many foreign countries and providing citizens and employees who have information of crimes with complete legal services.”
