Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto partners Michael Kohn, Stephen M. Kohn, David Colapinto, and Mary Jane Wilmoth are listed among Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers for 2022

“This group of amazing plaintiff lawyers principally represents plaintiffs in antitrust, whistleblower, securities fraud, business torts and disputes, and increasingly data privacy claims,” Lawdragon states. “They were selected through our process, established in 2005, combining independent journalistic research with a robust, open nomination process. Final candidates are vetted by peers and competitors before the 500 are selected.”

“It’s great to join KKC partners Mary Jane Wilmoth, Michael Kohn and Stephen Kohn on LawDragon’s 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers list this year,” said KKC founding partner David Colapinto.

“We also thank our whistleblower clients and understand that these achievements are due to the hard work of our colleagues and the incredible risks that all whistleblowers take in bringing forward these cases,” Colapinto continued.

Kohn, Kohn and Colapinto founded KKC in 1988 and Wilmoth joined the firm in 1992. Together, they have won numerous landmark decisions for whistleblowers as well as some of the largest financial rewards in history. Given their expertise in whistleblower law, KKC’s partners have also helped write key whistleblower protections into the Dodd-Frank Act, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act, and other laws.

Earlier this year, Kohn, Kohn and Colapinto received Top Lawyer Lifetime Achievement awards from Washingtonian magazine. The award recognizes lawyers who have been featured at least ten times in the past fifteen years on the magazine’s annual Top Lawyers list. Washingtonian composes its list based upon confidential surveys of Washington D.C. based lawyers.
